The Cover Reveal/Giveaway for my erotic romance novella, The Fifth Day, is September 3rd! Anyone who would like to be a Tour Host for the event can sign up here: http://indiesage.com/cover-reveal-the-fifth-day-by-kaia-bennett/. And feel free to add the book on Goodreads. Here’s the synopsis:
Justin Haas and Alyse Mosell have been best friends since they were ten years old, and more than a decade later not much has changed. After a bitter break up with her fiancé, Alyse moves in with Justin to mend her life and her broken heart. But, one night of drinking and harmless flirting soon morphs into a passion that’s been simmering under the surface for years. One of them is willing to take a chance on romance; the other is trying to take their heart and run. And it will take nothing short of a Christmas miracle to keep their friendship – and what could be love – from falling apart around them.
I’m so excited to share the cover with you guys, and on October 1st I get to share Justin and Alyse’s story with the Release Day event. So, we’re moving right along with publication of my previous works. In the meantime you guys are being amazing by spreading the word, liking and following me on social media, and sending me kind words of encouragement. Thank you for taking time out to support this itty bitty fish in the big literary pond, and for putting some extra fuel on the fire to share my stories.
As for #1 Crush, I finished the additional scenes, but I was slacking a bit on cleaning it up so I can send it back in to my editor. So much has been going on lately, including a relocation, but I’m back to work and should have the edits complete this weekend. Honestly, I get butterflies just saying that. The Loose Ends series was one of those big projects that has a lot of blood, sweat and tears in it for me, and I wrote it during a time when I honestly didn’t know if I would publish again. I simply needed to write, and I felt compelled to finish Gabriel and Nicole’s story as promised. Now here we are, years later, and Loose Ends is evolving from an online story into books you will be able to hold in your hands. It’s the bridge between the writer I was and the writer I hope to become, and it’s gonna get some editing and cover art! lol. It’s all a little surreal and nostalgic.
My plan is still to have the first installment of Loose Ends out in December. Should that change I will definitely let you know. But for now you can whet your appetite with Sunday or with the forthcoming Fifth Day. I hope you enjoy them and all that is to come.
